Write for us

Vibrant Racing Journal welcomes considered pitches about racing culture, formats, machines, track design and the history or traditions around the sport. Send proposals through the Contact page, with Write for Us selected as the reason for writing.

What makes a strong pitch

Start with a specific question or idea, say what a reader will understand by the end, and explain why the subject suits Vibrant Racing Journal. A focused comparison, clear explanation or well-framed historical subject is more useful than a broad overview of racing. Tell us the proposed category and the likely scope.

A clear, careful approach

We look for original work, plain language and claims that can be checked. Pitches should explain technical terms for non-specialists, distinguish fact from interpretation and avoid unsupported claims, predictions or promotional copy. Please mention any relevant interests or relationships that readers should know about.

Sending a proposal

Use the Contact page to send a short pitch and a little information about your proposed piece. You may include a brief outline and links to relevant published work, if available. A proposal is not a commissioned assignment, and we cannot promise publication or a response by a particular date.
